“It’s dry, dry here,” Johnson said Oct. 3. Soybeans have come in at 7% to 8% moisture with a yield between 60 to 70 bushels per acre. “Our beans lost moisture really fast this year,” he said. Johnson said he wants to switch to corn as soon as possible. “I have some concerns about our standability, especially if we get much wind.”
