2015 Cumulative Precipitation

Much of northwest Iowa received around 8 inches of rain early in the week of August 17 th. This significant rainfall pushed them ahead of many other areas of the state in cumulative precipitation this year. As you can see on the map, the Charles City location is the driest of the five locations, and Cherokee which was the second lowest location has now jumped to the top with nearly 28 inches of precipitation since the beginning of April.
