Iowa-based Harrisvaccines last week was awarded one of two contracts from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA/APHIS) to provide 48 million doses of the avian flu H5 vaccine to be used for its stockpile.
