State ag secretaries urge EPA to ditch water rule

State agriculture commissioners and secretaries have added their opposition to a proposal by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to redefine navigable waters subject to Clean Water Act regulations.
Members of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) unanimously voted to call on the federal agencies to withdraw the proposal.
