Starting a second century

As the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF) enters its second century, President Craig Hill urged members to continue to embrace the principles of grassroots leadership, integrity and dedication to progress that propelled the organization to unparalleled success through its first 100 years.
“Our foundation was thoughtfully constructed to withstand the test of time and has been thoughtfully preserved over the decades,” Hill said during his address to the 100th IFBF annual meeting held last week in Des Moines. “I have no illusions that we alone can predict the future; we need to only look back with amazement to the first 100 years of Farm Bureau to know we are in store for a trajectory of accelerated change.”
