For most people, fall represents the end of the growing season. And no doubt harvest activities take the majority of time and effort in the fall.
Fall is also the beginning of the next growing season. Field conditions, weed management and nutrient management are all started this fall, even prior to harvest. In this article, I would like to discuss nitrogen (N) management and how next year’s issues and success start this fall.
