Conservation Field Day: No-Till and Soil Health
Friday, July 2 (10 am – 2 pm)
Heartland Co-op is hosting a Conservation Field Day on July 2, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Nevada FFA field off Highway 30, 92 Maple Ave., in Nevada. The main topics will be no-till and soil health, including pros and cons, planter setup, and financial assistance options. A grill out lunch will be provided. The field day is sponsored by the Iowa Dept. of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, Nevada High School, VanWall Equipment, and USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).
