“Crops are in good shape after 4.3 inches of rain last week, Hofland said Aug. 10. “We were needing rain with the high demand of filling corn and setting pods. Nothing ran off. It all soaked in.” Tonnage on third-cutting hay was just as good as the second cutting, which was a nice surprise.
