Iowa's premier weekly crop reports 5/5/21

“Most of the corn crop will be in by the end of the weekend,” Hoffman said April 29. “A lot of beans are in too.” He had more than an inch of snow the previous weekend, but it didn’t add much moisture to dry fields. “By Monday morning, everybody was going again,” he said. “Field conditions have been probably as good as they’ve ever been. The ground is nice and mellow.”
