Iowa delegates build on conservation momentum

Iowa Farm Bureau delegates underscored the organization’s strong support for voluntary conservation and water quality by introducing and supporting policy provisions to promote cover crops and other conservation practices during the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) annual delegate session last week in San Diego.
"Voluntary conservation and water quality improvements are things that we really believe in the Iowa Farm Bureau, and we were able to build on that in this national policy session," said Craig Hill, president of the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation. "As farmers, we continue to make improvements in these areas, and we are always looking for ways to keep the momentum going."
