IFBF, ISU Extension are offering an online crop marketing course

The Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF) and Iowa State University Extension are offering an online course for farmers and others who want to improve their understanding of crop marketing.
The professional non-credit course is designed to provide learning opportunities for a variety of crop marketing strategies and tools to develop their own crop marketing strategies. Participants can explore, at their own pace, futures and option contracts, futures carry, futures price movements, basis and cost of grain ownership trends. The interactive online course includes video presentations, critical evaluation of crop marketing information, modules and quizzes, as well as access to current monthly newsletters and webinars.
This course uses active learning tools to give participants crop marketing expertise courtesy of leaders in the industry.
The cost of the online marketing course is $200. Iowa Farm Bureau members can earn a $50 scholarship rebate upon successful completion of the course.
