Hill: Iowans Need to Speak Out for RFS

Iowa farmers, and all Iowans, need to make their voices heard in opposition to proposed changes in the federal Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS), which would reduce required biofuel use levels in 2014, Craig Hill, president of the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF), said last week.
“In Iowa, we are really at the center of the universe when it comes to renewable fuels production, so the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Obama administration need to hear from us,” Hill said.
