Farmers focus on livestock care during bitter cold snap

Sub-zero temperatures last week meant farmers took extra time to make sure their animals were safe in the cold and snow.
Before the bitter cold, Clinton County Farm Bureau member Zac Brauer checked the insulation in his pig barn and added a layer of plastic film inside to decrease any drafts in the barn.
Baby pigs were set to arrive this week, so he said he wanted to be ready.
