New technologies that blend satellite imaging, weather monitoring and other tools are making a splash into agriculture as they aim to help farmers make business decisions and increase profitability for their operations.
As crop prices remain low and margins tight, industry leaders believe these products could help farmers better manage their crop and soil health, while saving money and time.
The Climate Corporation’s service, Climate Basic, is a free product allowing farmers to manage the logistics of their operation by giving a dashboard view of what’s going on from a weather perspective, in addition to organizing data, tracking activity and scouting capabilities....
