Farm Bureau Continues to Push for Tax Extenders

Farm Bureau continues to urge House and Senate leaders to act as soon as possible to address numerous provisions of the tax code that expired on Dec. 31, 2014. In a letter to leaders of both chambers, AFBF and a broad coalition of farm, ranch and ag organizations representing small businesses pointed out that failing to act soon will cause even more uncertainty for agriculture. The letter details why it is important for Congress to renew certain areas of the expired tax code such as Section 179 small business expensing and bonus depreciation
