EPA proposes limit on Bt corn plantings

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing new limits on the planting of some rootworm-resistant corn hybrids to help slow development of insects that can overcome the trait.
The EPA proposal is part of the agency’s five-year re-registration review of Bt-corn products that target corn rootworm.
