Disease concerns stop 2019 Pork Expo

Even the slightest threat of introducing African swine fever (ASF) into the U.S. pig herd was enough reason for the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) to cancel the 2019 World Pork Expo.
The NPPC board of directors announced their decision to cancel the annual three-day event last week, citing an abundance of caution as ASF continues to spread in China and other parts of Asia.
