2019 Market Study Tour: China

The Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF) is offering its members an exclusive opportunity to participate in an intensive market study tour of China in March 2019.
China will leave Des Moines on March 1, 2019 and return to Iowa on March 10. It will explore the agriculture and cultural sites in areas around Beijing and in southeastern China.
The IFBF study tour will visit the US embassy in Beijing, Chinese industry officials, and a variety of Chinese crop and livestock production facilities. Along the way, the study tour participants will meet with local farmers, agribusiness leaders, and others.

The participant fee is $2,500/double occupancy per person. Participants will be asked to share what they learn on the market study tour through a minimum of 4 presentations or outreach events in their local communities after the study tour.
