Ag Lender Communication & Expectations

To properly serve farm customers, ag lenders must have strong business relationships with their customers. It’s those early conversations, beginning with presenting an idea, all the way to final loan approval that helps builds that relationship. In this discussion, ag lender(s) will discuss what an optimal client/lender relationship looks like, how a lender can be involved in business decisions and important conversations to have with your lender about your goals.

Ag Carbon Markets Economics Simulation

Many of the agricultural carbon market programs offered differ in terms of required practice changes, contract length, payments per output vs. per practice, and other details. A key question, not often talked about, is whether or not the program will be a net return for the farmer? This simulation will help to answer that question by exploring a menu of carbon programs based on expected net returns from expected carbon sequestration over the life of the contract.
Take some of the stress out of managing your farm margins. Participants will also receive bonus information on “Cybersecurity and Ag Finance on the Web” and “Resources for Farm Wellness” at each event! Register today for this one-of-a-kind event containing critical information designed to help set your farm business up for success.

Registration is FREE for Farm Bureau members and $50 for non-members. (Lunch is included.)
