The Iowa Veterinary Medicine Association, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, and Iowa Farm Bureau are partnering to offer a series of free educational meetings for livestock farmers, veterinarians, and other individuals impacted by the Veterinary Feed Directive (VFD) – new rules regarding the use of medically important antibiotics in livestock that will go into effect on January 1, 2017.
