The United States is proactively advancing its relationships with African nations through expanded agricultural partnerships aimed at fostering trade, sharing technology, and modernizing farming practices. 

The ultimate goal: to help feed a growing world population.

These aspirations were emphasized by U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack and the Honorable Andrew J. Young, former U.S. Representative, Ambassador to the United Nations and chairman of the Andrew J. Young Foundation, which is dedicated to developing Africa’s economic potential.
