U.S., China promote ag collaboration

Representatives from the United States Heartland China Association (USHCA) and The China Agricultural Association for International Exchange (CAAIE) signed a memorandum of understanding last week to facilitate annual U.S.-China agriculture dialogue.
The signing followed a U.S.-China High Level Agricultural Dialogue summit held in Des Moines, attended in person by China’s Ambassador to the United States Qin Gang, as well as former Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad, who also served as U.S. ambassador to China during the Trump administration. U.S. Ambassador to China Nicholas Burns attended virtually from Beijing.
