The U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee has announced it will hold a hearing on Wednesday, June 23, to examine cattle market transparency and prices. The committee is bringing in representatives of producers, as well as experts on the meatpacking industry and cattle markets for the hearing.

The hearing is titled “Examining Markets, Transparency, and Prices from Cattle Producer to Consumer.” It will begin at 1:30 p.m. CDT, and will stream live here.
