The students in Mrs. Heeren’s second-grade class at New Hampton Elementary School welcomed the Chickasaw County Farm Bureau Ag in the Classroom Educator into their class to learn about the seasons. The lesson talked about the different seasons we have here in Iowa and what are the different jobs that are done during each season. The students then had to illustrate a job that takes place on the farm during a season that they picked. They then had to have their classmates guess what the job is and during what season.
