Omnibus spending bill fixes ag issues

The federal omnibus spending bill passed last week by Congress fixes a number of key agriculture concerns, including livestock emissions reporting, electronic logging device (ELD) mandates for ag haulers and the Section 199A “grain glitch.”
The $1.3 trillion bill also includes $600 million for rural broadband as well as increased funding for ag research and inland waterways infrastructure.
