New system provides weed control options in soybeans

Iowa farmers who plant Asgrow brand Roundup Ready 2 Xtend soybeans this season will have the opportunity to experience both high yield potential and improved weed control.
Last year, Asgrow Roundup Ready 2 Xtend soybeans demonstrated strong performance including excellent emergence, early season vigor and plant health, with an average 3.9 bushel per acre national yield advantage over a key competitor.
With recent Environmental Protection Agency and Iowa state approval for in-crop use of Monsanto’s XtendiMax herbicide with VaporGrip Technology, this low-volatility dicamba formulation can be applied on Roundup Ready 2 Xtend soybeans beginning with the 2017 planting season.
