New incentives for biofuels infrastructure

Biofuel advocates and lawmakers welcomed a new program by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to create incentives to expand the availability of fuels with higher blends of ethanol, such as E15.
The USDA plan intends to make available up to $100 million in competitive grants to expand the infrastructure needed to distribute and sell higher blends of renewable fuels through a program called the Higher Blends Infrastructure Incentive Program (HBIIP).
