August 22 | Morgan Creek Watershed Field Day
The Nature Conservancy and partners are hosting a field day on August 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Dan Voss’s shop near Palo. Local partners will discuss local watershed projects and conservation programs. Supper will be provided by Iowa Corn. August 29 | Bioreactor and Monarch Habitat Field Day
Iowa Learning Farms, in partnership with Iowa Monarch Conservation Consortium, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service and National Wildlife Foundation, will host a bioreactor and monarch habitat field day on Thursday, August 29th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Rob Stout’s farm near Washington. The event is free, open to the whole family and includes a complimentary meal sponsored by Iowa Corn. Iowa Learning Farms, in partnership with the Indian Creek Soil Health Partnership, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, and Linn County, will host a cover crop field day on Wednesday, August 14 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Marion Airport.
