New conservation compliance rules demand greater attention from farmers

Iowa farmers need to keep in close contact with their county Farm Service Agency (FSA) and Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) as erratic weather patterns, high commodity prices and changes in federal programs put additional scrutiny on conservation compliance, representatives of the agencies said last week.
