National Public Radio: Farmers Fight Environmental Regulations

On a recent broadcast of NPR’s Morning Edition, AFBF’s Don Parrish explained American agriculture’s fight against environmental regulations. Parrish, a senior director of congressional relations, told NPR that the Waters of the U.S. rule’s definition is too broad. “All of sudden, farmers go from farming fields and land that they have always farmed, to farming in ‘Waters of the U.S.,’” he said.
