Between rain events, Hammen wrapped up the second herbicide application to his early planted soybean fields last week. “Weed control is really our focus right now,” Hammen said July 11. “Waterhemp is becoming more and more difficult to manage.” Beyond weeds, he said both corn and beans are looking good in his area.
