New U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) numbers show slight increases in both corn and soybean production for the 2021 crop year
The Sept. 10 USDA Crop Production report forecast increased corn and soybean production this year, adjusting both planted acres and yield expectations slightly from the August report.
Markets were little changed on the new numbers, which were roughly in line with pre-report estimates.
