Cropland values post smallest gains since '21
Iowa has the highest farmland values among Corn Belt states at $9,800 per acre.

U.S. cropland values climbed to an average of $5,570 per acre in 2024, an increase of $250 per acre or 4.7% from the previous year, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) annual land values summary.  It was the smallest increase since 2021.
