U.S. pork exports re­mained steady in Aug­ust, at 226,519 metric tons, but export value declined 1.5% to $649.5 million, according to the latest export data released by the U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF). 

For the first eight months of 2023, pork exports were up 11% compared to 2022, at 1.91 million metric tons, with a value of $5.32 billion, a 9% increase.
