Iowa Farm Bureau, in partnership with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, will be hosting timely, informative events designed specifically to help Iowa farmers navigate through the continued pressure of tight operating margins.

To properly serve farm customers, ag lenders must have strong business relationships with their customers. It’s those early conversations, beginning with presenting an idea, all the way to final loan approval that helps builds that relationship. In this discussion, ag lender(s) will discuss what an optimal client/lender relationship looks like, how a lender can be involved in business decisions and important conversations to have with your lender about your goals.Ag Carbon Markets Economics Simulation
Many of the agricultural carbon market programs offered differ in terms of required practice changes, contract length, payments per output vs. per practice, and other details. A key question, not often talked about, is wheather or not the program will be a net return for the farmer?
