“I’ll probably get started on beans tomorrow or Saturday,” Johnson said Sept. 19. He said depending on when they were planted, some soybean fields around him are ready to go, while others are still green. “Overall, it looks good out there. I’m expecting at least 60 (bushels per acre) or better.” He was also waiting on sample testing results before applying hog manure later this fall.Kody Trampel - Hancock County
