A few farmers are still working on soybean fungicide applications, Rosburg said Aug. 15. “Late-planted corn looks decent, but I wish it was Aug. 1 instead of mid-August,” he said. Nitrogen deficiency is showing up in corn fields that didn’t have additional fertilizer applied, and there was a little green snap in the area. Soybean aphid levels are steady.
