Boettcher’s farm got almost 5 inches of rain over three days last week. “Everyone was pretty tickled to see the rain … We should have plenty of water going into tasseling,” she said July 14. Boettcher lost around 3 to 4 acres of soybeans to ponding but decided not to replant this late in the season. Soybean rows have closed and are starting to flower.Devon Murray - Floyd County
