“We’ve got ponds standing pretty much everywhere,” Rosburg said May 30. “Guys have been going to prevent plant meetings trying to figure out what to do.” Planting progress is variable with some farmers done and others just starting, he said. Farmers are looking at shorter season hybrids, but yields will be reduced 15% to 20% percent on corn planted in June.
