After rain and a week of sunshine, crops are looking good in the area with most corn in the V5 to V7 range, Peelen said June 18. “Fields probably could use a drink, but we are really sitting pretty good on moisture after the rains last week,” he said. Farmers are finishing up side-dressing corn and doing post-emerge spraying on soybeans, Peelen said.
