With 4.5 inches of rain and a hailstorm that knocked down young soybean plants, the weather has been a challenge for Boettcher the last few weeks. “Our beans are a concern. We may have to replant some spots,” she said June 9. Weed pressure is also an issue; she has seen both buttonweed and lambsquarters popping up, but the fields are still too wet for post-emergence spraying. Devon Murray - Floyd County
