“We just started planting yesterday; it’s still a bit cold out there,” Glienke said April 28. Overnight temperatures were still in the 30s and 40s, and Glienke said he’s expecting rain to move through this week. Despite the challenges, he was able to put in almost 200 acres of corn last week. “With the cold and more rain coming in, that’s why we’re dragging our feet,” he said.Ethan Lambert - Wright County
