“We’re still too wet here to do anything,” Rosburg said April 18. Farmers behind on tillage after wet conditions last fall were hoping to get into fields by the weekend. “I think some guys going into beans will just no-till them,” said Rosburg, who sells Channel seed and farms with his dad. “Some guys will put soybeans in before corn.”
