“There are a few guys out doing tillage but not a lot,” Glienke said April 15. Cold temperatures and about one-quarter inch of rain kept planters out of fields last week. Glienke checked subsoil moisture on his farm and was pleased to see reserves hanging in there, despite a dry winter and spring. Glienke row-crops corn and soybeans and grows alfalfa for his cow-calf herd.Ethan Lambert - Wright County
