“We’re plugging right along on beans. They got dry quick,” Glienke said Sept. 29. Because of the dry conditions, he has been able to get into the fields between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Soybeans are averaging between 9% to 11% moisture, leading to some cracking, “but given the year we’ve had, that’s understandable,” Glienke said. Bean yields have been between 50 to 60 bushels an acre. Ethan Lambert - Wright County
