Iowa State to study fertilizer price spikes

Iowa’s attorney general is ordering a study into the factors that have caused prices of nitrogen and other farm fertilizers to double or triple since last year.
Attorney General Tom Miller wants to know whether the unprecedented jumps are the natural result of supply and demand or because of unfair practices by fertilizer manufacturers.
