In addition to having important conversations with Iowa’s congressional delegation, par­­ticipants on the 2024 Iowa Farm Bureau Ag Leaders trip to in Washington earlier this month met with staff from the Embassy of Canada and the U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee.

The Ag Leaders also got a behind-the-scenes look at the House of Representatives from Iowa 3rd District Rep. Zach Nunn. The trip from Sept. 9-12 marked the culmination of a yearlong program offered by the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF) to build the next generation of county and state leaders.
