IFBF survey: Consumers are often confused by food labels

A large majority of Iowa grocery shoppers pay attention to food labels as they shop, but their understanding of those labels is, at times, inconsistent with the findings of food experts that shoppers say they trust most, according to a survey conducted for the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF).
