IFBF criticizes EPA's biofuel proposal

The Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF), along with other biofuel advocates and lawmakers, criticized the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) belated announcement last week of fuel obligations for refiners to comply with the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS).
The announcement by the EPA, which reduced biofuel blending requirements for 2020 and 2021, highlights the need for consistency and transparency in the EPA’s administration of the RFS, said outgoing IFBF President Craig Hill.
