How to Submit an Objection

Anyone can file an objection at any time during the project’s process, but not later than 20 days after the last petition filing notice is published. The Utilities Board may choose to allow late-filed objections onto the record, and if so, reasonable time must be given to the company to respond.

Individuals wishing to submit objections or just comments to a proposed line can do so verbally at the public hearing, or in writing. Written objections/comments can be submitted through the Utility Board’s electronic system. The Board has also developed a model comment form (Word document) to use if you so wish to do so.
